Participation in International Competitions (ISU)
Athletes of the Cyprus Skating Federation participate in international events with great success.
On this webpage you can find information about the participation of the National Team of the Cyprus Skating Federation in the international competitions, which are organized by the International Skating Federation (ISU). Athletes of the Cyprus Skating Federation, also participate in other international competitions, which are organized by ISU members, but these participations are not included in the table below.
The greatest success of the National Team of the Cyprus Skating Federation is the 3rd place that was achieved by Angelina Kudryavtseva and Ilia Karankevich in the category Junior Ice Dance at the ISU Junior Grand Prix, which was held in Gdansk/Πολωνίας from the September 29th – October 2nd 2021.
Other great achienements of the Cyprus Skating Federation:
1st place in the ISU Challenger Series Autumn Classic International, which was held in Montreal /Καναδά from 6th -18th, September 2021, that was achieved by the athlete Marilena Kitromilis in the category Singles Women.
8th θέση at the ISU World Junior FS Championships, which was held inTallin/Estonia from the 12th – 17th March 2022 that saw achived by the athletes Angelina Kudryavtseva and Ilia Karankevich in the category Junior Ice Dance.
These achievements are the biggest distinctions of the Cyprus Skating Federation in international competitions at the ISU level.
